Annual Memorial Service
Each year, close to 28 Adar (or 28 Adar I in a Jewish leap year), a memorial service is held at the cemetery.

Study Day at Midreshet Nov
For several years, a study day in Talia’s memory was held at Midreshet Nov in the Golan Heights, where Talia had studied. Organised by the Midrasha, it took place near the date of the annual memorial service, during the afternoon, and included lessons given by the Midrasha’s rabbis.
The Talia Trust for Children’s Annual Event
In the first years after Talia’s death, the Talia Trust for Children held an annual sponsored walk in Talia’s memory. It took place in the Haifa area during the intermediate days of Sukkot, and its proceeds were dedicated to the charity’s aims.
In later years, the walk was replaced by an event in the Carmel Forests. Here too, the proceeds were dedicated to the charity’s aims.
After several more years, the event was replaced by the participation of the charity’s supporters in the Jerusalem Marathon, with all proceeds dedicated to the charity.

Other Events over the Years
Talia’s first annual memorial day fell on 28 Adar, 28 March, the day of the Knesset elections. On the evening before the first annual memorial day (27 March), the “Heichal Shoshana” Synagogue in Haifa held the evening prayer, followed by a lesson in Talia’s memory given by Rabbi Professor Daniel Hershkowitz, rabbi of the Ahuza neighbourhood in Haifa.
Several days before the second annual memorial day, an evening of study in memory of Talia was held at Midreshet Nov in the Golan Heights.
